Displaced Somalis from eastern Ethiopia have reached Tuesday in Galgadud region in central Somalia, Shabelle’s Abdkarin Bulhan reported.

The displaced people from eastern Ethiopia who have fled from renewed clashes between ONLF rebels and Ethiopian soldiers arrived in Balagis Camp in Galgadud, where more displaced civilians reside in.

Residents in the area said the situation of the camp is very poor and the people need urgent aid.

The civilians said they fled from the new fighting which ONLF rebels claimed. The rebels said they seized Mustahil town, but Ethiopia denied.

There are no aid agencies in the region except local NGOs
