The Somali Ambassador to South Africa, Abdulkerim Farah, said that the tyrant Eritrean government is aggravating conflicts in the horn of Africa.

In his exclusive interview with WIC the Ambassador said that the government in Asmara is not only invaded neighboring countries like Djibouti and previous the Islands of Yemen but also it has been interfering in the internal affairs of Somalia, Sudan and Ethiopia, which has been jeopardizing the peace and stability of the region.

According to the Ambassador it is the Eritrean government that is hosting all anti peace elements in the country and aggressively working against peace and security situations in the Horn in general and in Somalia in particular. He added that the Eritrean government sent militants and provided military logistics to insurgents in Somalia, adding there are ample evidences that it helps terrorist groups in the region.

According to Ambassador Abdukarim Farah the Eritrean government has recently invaded Djibouti to jeopardize the peace talks between the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia and the main opposition groups that was held there.

The Ambassador added that the Eritrean government has also been sending armed shipmen to Somalia, training insurgents against the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) and lobbying internationally against the will of the Somali people.

He further indicated that there is a lot of evidence that the Eritrean government has been committing all anti-peace acts in the region and as a result it has been isolated from countries in the Horn and the country is now in a desperate political situation
